What Is Everyone Talking About Twin Stroller Right Now
Best Twin Stroller For Newborns
If you're expecting twins, or have two children that are close in age the double stroller is essential. The best ones provide multiple ways for your kids to ride, including side-by-side seating and a rider board attachment.
The Bugaboo Donkey 5 Mono is Lauren Ro's favorite stroller. It can adapt to the needs of your family seamlessly. It can accommodate two infant car seats and an infant seat, making it a great option for twins starting at birth.
Bugaboo Donkey
This is the best twin stroller for families that want a stylish double side-by-side stroller. It's a bit bulkier than the other Bugaboo models however, it is solid and built to last. It has a handlebar that is adjustable that retracts and extends easily. It also has a fantastic reach, making it easy for my 6'1 husband to push, even when fully loaded.
The seats are spacious and can be placed so that one child is on top of the other, or to have children face each the other. They can also recline in a different way from one another. The canopies are huge and cover both seat fabrics when desired. However, they don't offer adequate ventilation, so they could feel like a small oven on hot days. There's no peek-a-boo window to see your children.
This stroller features an unique feature that lets it grow with your family and you. It can be converted from a single seat (Mono Mode) to a double side by side stroller. This is the only double stroller convertible that can do this. It can also be used in conjunction with a second bassinet or car seat for newborns.
It is a breeze to use on smooth surfaces, and it handles stairs and slopes well. It can be a challenge to maneuver in crowded stores and restaurants. It is also difficult to fold, especially when seats are connected. It's still quite compact though, and it can be tucked away easily.

In mono mode, there's an storage bin located next to the front seats. This is useful for groceries and other supplies. The main storage basket beneath the seats is big and can accommodate up to 100 lbs. This is more than any other stroller on our list!
Uppababy Vista V2
This is one of the top twin strollers for new newborns. It is compatible with a range of bassinets and infant car seats (adapters sold separately) and can be used as a double stroller right out of the box. The Vista Upper and Vista Lower adapters let you use two infant car seats at the same time.
The V2 is an improved version of the original Vista. The toddler seat is half an inch higher, the footrest has more space, and the canopy comes with an extender fabric that zips out and adds extra coverage. The harness has also been modernized, as it does not need to be re-threaded. This makes it much easier to adjust.
The stroller has reasonably large wheels (8 inches in the front and 11.5 inches in the back) with a strong suspension, which means it is able to handle all kinds of terrain. The front wheels are made of rubber, which makes them ideal for navigating gravel, rocks and cobblestones. While the rear wheels have more tread to conquer the grassy hills and sidewalks.
Another feature that is great is the possibility to connect a child's bicycle to the front of the stroller, making it an excellent option for those who aren't interested in using an infant car seat or Rumbleseat. If you have a child who's old enough to stand up, the Vista stroller can fit an additional child using its piggyback board accessory.
Vista Vista is simple to use and set up. However, it takes some time to get rid of the protective packaging. The instructions are easy to follow, and there is an YouTube video if you need help understanding the steps.
Thule Urban Glide 3
The Thule Urban Glide 3 stroller is the latest version of this renowned all terrain stroller. It's designed to appeal to families who appreciate style, sustainability, and adventure. It's got exciting new features, including a built-in leg rest and updated reclining seat that promises unparalleled comfort for children during long jogs and walks. Its sleek, agile design also enhances its maneuverability.
It is incredibly light, making it easy to drive and speedy to accelerate on the open road. Its suspension is able to handle sudden changes in surfaces (like grass to pavement) easily and the large wheels offer ample traction even on the most difficult terrain. It can easily climb kerbs without difficulty, and it can maneuver in tight spaces like city streets with precision. It's also easy to navigate narrow sidewalks and overcrowded parks.
The brand new Urban Glide 3 is a superior jogger that gives parents a great deal of comfort and ease. This includes an oversized canopy that offers excellent sun protection and a convenient peekaboo window a top-quality harness system and a handbrake integrated with an extremely tuned lever. It also comes with ample storage, including in-seat storage pockets and a large cargo basket that holds up to 15 pounds with an open-top cover.
This Thule Jogger includes a bassinet that is suitable for strolling infants, and a double version that can fit two children. It is compatible with car seat adapters, so you can use the infant carrier of your child, and it has a quick fold that is one-handed, making it easy to transport and put away. It's also a green choice with solutions-dyed fabrics with black colors to reduce the use of water.
Cortina Together
Cortina Together is designed for families that are growing and provides parents with various seating options to meet the needs and preferences of every child. The two seats in the double stroller come with reclining backrests, and canopies that are independent. The seats are also designed to take Chicco's KeyFit or KeyFit 30, the top baby car seat in both the rear and front seat. (Car seat sold separately).
A large, zipper-access basket on the rear offers ample storage space for your gear. The handle is cushioned to accommodate mom or dad. The wheels and suspension of the tandem double stroller offer smooth riding across all terrains. The one-touch linked rear breaks when you tap it, making stopping simple.
In our Strollers & Multiples lab tests, Cortina Together scored well for ease of use. This is based on how simple it is to fold and set up the stroller and to adjust the safety harness and open and close the snack tray, disengage and engage the brakes, lift and carry the stroller as if placing it in a trunk, and for double strollers compatible, install and remove the infant car seat.
The model has a few flaws. First, it's heavy. It weighs 36.6 pounds fully loaded which puts it close to the beast end of our metric. It also has a limited view when a car seat is placed in the rear. The front tray release isn't always easy to use, particularly after long-term use. However, despite these issues, we consider this to be a great stroller for your family.
Jeep Double Stroller
The Jeep Destination Ultralight Side x Side Double Stroller is an affordable, lightweight stroller that's perfect for families with two kids. Its front swivel lock wheels rotate to maneuver on flat surfaces, and lock for stability on bumpy surfaces making it easy to get where you want to go. It has a compact folding umbrella that can be closed in a matter of seconds. It can also stand upright to make moving it easier. Its aluminum frame that is lightweight, foam handle and carrying strap makes it one of the easiest double strollers to lift in our tests.
This side-by-side stroller offers independently reclining seats and foot rests for the best comfort for both children. The large canopy provides UPF 50 protection and includes an open view for easy monitoring. We would have liked to have the canopy vented to allow more airflow. We also weren't thrilled that the cup holder is quite high on the frame, meaning you'll have to bend down to access it.
In our test of tipping, the Jeep fell over with only 39 degrees of incline, which is above average for a double stroller. It's also a little heavier than our top picks but it offers an adequate amount of storage space for the price and comes with a decent amount of padding on the seats and handle.
This versatile stroller has three modes: wagon (just for stuff), the jogger (with two 5-point safety harnesses designed for children) and car seat mode. It can be used with one car seat for infants, however, pediatricians recommend waiting until your child is 6 months old before jogging with them, and one year old before letting them run on rough terrain. It's black and has a limited lifetime warranty. Jenni Gritters has been a journalist in the field of parenting and outdoor for more than 10 years.
